Intake & Listen
You fill out the intake form, and we communicate with you to make sure we have your vision fully understood before anything touches a beaker.
Samples
We go to work building variations of a base formula using your intake request, iterating with you sample by sample.
Final Testing
We finalize a formula once it has passed a variety of tests: shelf stability, moisture and mold testing, and anything else we need to verify it's consumer ready. Depending on the ingredients, different tests might be recommended to you.
Produce
We get you the formula. If you've also chosen us as your manufacturer, we hand it off to Moontide Manufacturing for production at any size.
What a formula costs.
Pricing highly depends on what the formula is for, where you're at in the process, whether it's something we already white label or private label or a fully new development for us, and how cost-intensive it is.
You pay for testing in the cost of formulation
We run several tests based on what the formula is made of — shelf stability, moisture and mold, and any further tests the ingredients call for — and that testing phase is built into your formulation cost, not billed as a surprise later.
Submit the intake form
Get a quote by submitting your formulation request in the intake form. A Moontide rep will get back to you within 2–6 days with a quote. If it's taking longer than 2–3 days, it's probably because we're researching in depth how we can assist you — or whether it's even a viable project for us.
